A Japanese Zen Garden designed as a quiet, contemplative place. The local moss rocks are placed to be reminiscent of islands at sea. The patio and border are black concrete. Features two large, flat rocks which serve as steps and transitions from patio to border. The rocks were ground and drilled with rebar added to assure the transition from concrete to rocks remains stable. The Zen Garden is approximately 14 feet square. Nevada City, California.
